Riding Camps

Cedar Vista Stables offers several riding camps throughout the year for various levels of riders from beginner riders to adult-only camps to intensive training camps for the most experienced riders.

Basic riding camps for beginner and intermediate riders are designed to give students a feel for what caring for a horse is really like while educating them about the many different aspects of horsemanship and riding. Riding camps include a riding lesson, fun ride, stable management and a theory lesson daily. Activities can include safety in handling horses and ponies, grooming, care of tack, bathing horses and ponies, parts of the horse, feeding, seeing how horse shoes are applied and much much more. Our friendly, knowledgeable instructors and quiet, well-trained horses and ponies will make our riding camps an experience to remember!
